Technical Reports

The Report of the Expert Panel on Blood Cholesterol Levels in Children and Adolescents. (NIH Publication No. 91-2732) is the final report of the National Cholesterol Education Program Coordinating Committee.

Teamed with content experts to write report involving the input and approval of approximately 50 Federal and private organizations.  Coordinated graphic layout and design. Edited and proofed all drafts and final camera-ready copy.

Conference Programs

This conference program was produced for the Joint Meeting on Adolescent Treatment Effectiveness (JMATE), an annual event sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration/Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (SAMHSA/CSAT)

From 2004 through 2008, provided editorial support for this document, which was distributed to approximately 700 attendees and 300 presenters. Wrote, edited, and proofread content, including presentation abstracts. Coordinated graphic layout and design. Edited and proofed all drafts and final camera-ready copy.

Meeting Agendas and Summaries

Methamphetamine: The National Summit To Promote Public Health, Partnerships, and Safety in Critically Affected Populations was the culmination of several years of research on the use of methamphetamine by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Provided editorial support to an expert committee and government partners. Produced agendas for planning sessions and the National Summit. Wrote summaries for meetings and teleconferences, including both quick-turnaround action item reports as well as comprehensive meeting minutes. Served on editorial team for a report to Congress.

Reference Lists, Bibliographies, Abstracts

Created and published numerous lists of information including references, bibliographies, and abstracts, for example:

•  National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) Publications Catalog. Coordinated, edited, and proofed content for catalog.  Worked with graphics designers to produce final camera-ready copy.
•  Prevention Primer: An Encyclopedia of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention Terms. Working with content experts, wrote, edited, proofed, and oversaw production of this collection of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention terms.

Toolkits

The NHLBI Kit '90:  The Right Moves contains a variety of materials that can be used at health fairs, training sessions, and other information-sharing events.
